Kristen Campbell
Kristen is an Elementary Physical Education teacher with a love for fitness. She has her Masters Degree in General Education and has been teaching for 10 years.  She has two children, Lauren(7) and Nolan (5). She says her inspiration is to be a positive roll model for her children at home and at school as well. She wants to prove that anything is possible with a positive attitude. She loves all sports. Her favorites are lifting, running, biking, swimming, wake boarding and water skiing. Through figure she have found her true passion. Pushing herself to lift heavier and staying disciplined with diet are the best challenges she has ever encountered! She says that its even harder than running her marathons!
Kristen got started while training for a marathon. While training, her treadmill broke and was forced to get a gym membership. While at the gym she ran into an old friend who told her about her figure competition coming up. Kristen was so excited to hear about it and wanted to learn more. She went home that night and googled it. A few weeks later she went to her friends show to check it all out. She had goose bumps the entire show and wanted to be on that stage!! Kristen ran her last marathon in May 2009 and since has traded her running shoes for weights and protein shakes!
Kristen hired a trainer in September 2009 and worked with him 2-3 times a week. She signed up for her first show on May 1, 2010. It was a non sanctioned local show in which her trainer had her compete as a bodybuilder for the experience on stage. That started her record of success. Since then she has competed in two OCB shows. May 22, 2010 The Circle City Championships in Indiana where she placed 1st in Tall Novice Figure, 1st in Novice Overall and 1st in Tall Open Figure. Her second show was also through the OCB on November 20, 2010. It was the Midwest States in Illinois. She took home four 1st place trophies including her PRO CARD!!!! She has only just begun to show the figure world what she has to offer. She says that she has gotten a taste and is hungry for more!

Cardio: 2-3 days a week I do boot camps, running on treadmill, bike, elliptical or stair stepper.

Nutrition:   Eat Clean!

Kristen always eats clean always!!! It's what makes her body happy. Even during off season. Yes she has a few candies hear and there during off season and cheat meals every week but for the majority of the time she is eating clean.

Favorite Cheat Food:

Wine! And you can't go wrong with Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. Ha!
Kristens phrase of inspiration:  "If you want it, go get it"!!!!!
